Clemson got bailed out by a weather delay against North Carolina last week. I’m still not buying the Tigers. Now add a cross country trip on a little bit of a shorter week? I’ll take Cal +1.5 -112.

Oklahoma at Georgia -13.5 O/U 44.5

Oklahoma was in an absolute rock fight with New Mexico at home next week. This week they take a step up in competition against the Georgia Bulldogs between the hedges. It also appears that stud defensive tackle David Stone got banged up in practice this week. Now Georgia has played absolutely nobody this point of the season. So much so they are running drills during timeouts in game action. I don’t trust Oklahoma to score on the Dawgs, we’ll lay the points here. Georgia -13.5 -114.

South Carolina at Alabama -12.5 O/U 54.5

I feel slightly guilty giving this one out because I got a far better line than you the reader. I think last week we witnessed the beginning of the end of the Shane Beamer era at South Carolina. So much so that I wouldn’t be shocked if we start seeing guys like Dylan Stewart start making some business decisions. Meanwhile the Tide’s offense is rolling. Keelon Russell lit up the Florida State defense for 50 points in Tuscaloosa last week. Take the over 54.5 -114.

Best Bet

UCLA @ Maryland +2.5 O/U 57.5

Bob Chesney has the Bruins rolling right now. Nico is playing good football at quarterback. But now you have to travel across the country? Quiet as it’s kept UCLA has struggled some defensively. I think Locksley is coaching for his job here. I don’t trust the Terrapins to deliver a complete effort for 60 minutes but I do trust them to score. Over 57.5 -115.
