Hello friends, welcome back to the Money Back Guarantee. Last week was a very good week. I saw Tyler go 3-0 week 1 and I was inspired to go 3-0 myself. And we hit the best bet with ease which you absolutely love to see. The record for the season now is 7-4 +2.38 units. The best bet stands at 2-1 +0.82 units. Through 2 weeks in the season long pick contest my record is 4-2 and Tyler’s stands at 3-3. Commiserations on the Penn State game Tyler, Temple had no business covering that game.

This week is a fascinating one to watch. Particularly the game on the plains of Auburn between the Florida Gators and the Auburn Tigers. We’re still learning a lot about the SEC and we’ll see how it all unfolds. As things stand I’d have Georgia as my favorite to win with Texas a close second. Can teams like LSU and Alabama separate themselves from the pack? Or will a dark horse emerge. Mississippi State has been very impressive this early. And we’ll talk about it more next week but I think the Tennessee Volunteers can give Texas a hell of a game in Knoxville. But for now we’ll let the season unfold.

Just a thought for all the hot take artists at home. Now onto the business.

Kentucky @ Texas A&M -16.5 O/U 50.5

This was damn near my best bet of the weekend. I’m not buying Texas A&M yet. Sure they pulled away late against Arizona State, they needed two pick sixes to do it. Kentucky gave Alabama a good game for 3.5 quarters. If they can avoid the turnovers I think Kentucky can keep this to a 1 score type of game. We’ll take the points here, Kentucky +16.5 -115.

UTEP @ Michigan -34.5 O/U 49.5

Credit to Kyle Whittingham and staff for knuckling down and finding a way to win a huge game at home last week against Oklahoma. I think a clear message was sent by the coaching staff of the Maize and Blue by running Bryce Underwood 18 times. I don’t trust Michigan to hang the 35 you need to cover the spread. But I do trust them to stick with the ground game and struggle to score. We’re going to play under 49.5 -115.

Kent State @ Ohio State -52.5 O/U 59.5

You mean to tell me I get Ohio State coming off a loss against a far inferior opponent? One that got whooped in a power 4 game already? This is a no brainer to me. Buckeyes -52.5 -114.

Best bet

Kansas vs. Arizona State (N) -5.5 O/U 50.5

My only regret about this best bet is not finishing up this piece earlier so I could have gotten you guys an even better number for the best bet. With that said you’re giving me 50.5 in a game featuring international travel? Yes people you’re reading that correctly this game is being played in London. Don’t overthink this one. We’ll take the under 50.5 -110.
