Washington pulled the plug on Demond Williams last week against Iowa which may benefit them in the long run. Very quietly Purdue is playing well. They gave Wake Forest a real run for their money. Hung in with UCLA. With Barry Odom’s offense humming I think we get points in West Lafayette Friday night. We’ll play over 50.5 -110.

Ohio State at Indiana +3.5 O/U 50.5

Indiana really struggled with Nebraska last week. But I can’t let that cloud my vision. Big picture the Hoosiers have struggled defensively this season. And they have yet to face a team with the Buckeyes firepower. We’ll lay the points. Buckeyes -3.5 -108.

Pitt @ Boston College +6.5 -110 O/U 42.5

We’re fading Pitt again folks. The loss of Heintschel is a huge deal. I think Boston College is being undervalued here folks. I think the Eagles are live here folks. Boston College +6.5 -110.

Best Bet

Notre Dame @ BYU +10.5 O/U 46.5

I don’t often include Notre Dame in this blog. You would think they would be a regular inclusion here but I try not to let personal bias interfere. Not to mention a ton of public money usually comes in on the Irish. But this week, I feel very good about Notre Dame. I think the Irish have the best defense in the country that should have Kingston Viliamu-Asa and Leonard Moore back this week. The Irish running game has really gotten going on top of that.

I think the Irish also have the coaching edge. With all due respect to BYU when they have had to step up in competition recently they’ve gotten buried. Take a look at the box scores from last years Texas Tech game. We’ll lay the 10.5 with the Irish for the best bet this weekend. Notre Dame -10.5 -110.
