Hello friends, welcome back to the Money Back Guarantee. Last week was our first real disappointing week in a while. Let’s not minimize it, I was terrible last week. 0-4 -4 units. Lost our first best bet of the season. Sad sad week all around. As things stand we’re now 16-16 -1.38 units, and the best bets are 7-1 +5.05 units. Let’s get to the picks and get back on the right track.

Pittsburgh @ Florida State -10.5 O/U 58.5
Pat Narduzzi made a surprising move in benching Eli Holstein recently. Step forward Mason Heintschel a freshman out of Ohio. Not a highly touted recruit but he played damn well against Boston College. Florida State is coming off a pretty comprehensive defeat against Miami. The score certainly flattered the Noles. I don’t think this is a vintage Narduzzi defense by any means. We’ll play over 58.5 -105.

Indiana @ Oregon -7.5 O/U 53.5
First of all full marks to Coach Cig. Imagine I told you 10 years ago Indiana would be playing a top 10 matchup in the middle of October against the Oregon Ducks? Cignetti has worked miracles in Bloomington. With all that said I think Indiana is a good team, not a great team. I think the Ducks are great. Quack quack well lay the points with the Ducks. Oregon -7.5 -105.

Clemson @ Boston College +14.5 O/U 54.5
Boston College has been absolutely sputtering this season. Bill O’Brien’s team is on a 4 game losing streak. Enter the Clemson Tigers who are flying under the radar since they are out of contention nationally. What’s that sound?

It’s a daily double my friends. Clemson -7.5 1H -108 and Clemson for the game -14.5 -102.
Best Bet

Oklahoma @ Texas (N) +1.5 O/U 45.5
I’ve written about my love for this game several times. There’s nothing like the Red River Shootout. Half the stadium burnt orange the other half crimson. It’s my favorite game of the year. Coming into this season people were expecting this to be a top 10 matchup at the worst. Now the Texas Longhorns find themselves in a brutal position. Arch Manning has struggled, the offensive line doesn’t look up to scratch. Meanwhile Oklahoma was riding as high as anyone in the country. Then John Mateer had to get a surgery and there was a lot of questions. Mateer is going to give it a go on Saturday apparently. I think everyone in the country has written off the Longhorns. That’s when I buy. Give me Texas +1.5. I just think Texas picks itself up here and wins a game.
