Hello friends, welcome back to the money back guarantee. After declaring last week a can’t lose well, we lost.

I have no one to blame but myself. I went back and forth about 100 times between betting UConn spread or the under for the best bet. That under was dead almost immediately meanwhile UConn was a no doubt winner. This is a good time to remind you. Scared money don’t make money. I scared myself because of how much I loved UConn and gave you guys a bad bet. For that I’m sorry.

Another reminder, guys numbers matter. They always matter. I got a nice reminder of that on a personal bet of mine Saturday. I ended up taking the Auburn Tigers +6.5. Auburn was the right side of that game. But as soon as it went to overtime I knew I was dead. Anyone who tells you it’s only a point is a fool. Remember the key football numbers guys.

Last thought before we get to the picks. The super conferences suck. Do you understand what the money hungry bastards that run this sport stole from us? SEC would still be unbelievable. Vandy vying for the SEC East with Georgia. On the other side of the conference Bama, Ole Miss and Texas A&M fighting it out. In the PAC-12 we’d be witnessing all out wars between USC and Oregon with Washington and Utah in the mix. In Big 12 country we’d have Texas Tech challenging the traditional powers of Texas and Oklahoma. Lastly, well the less said about the ACC the better. It is a god damn shame what’s happened and I had to get that out.

Last week we went 2-3 -1.14 units. For the season we now stand at 29-28 -1.29 units. The best bet has fallen to a lousy 9-5 +2.91 units. I need to see one fall through the hoop here guys. We’ll get back on track.

Clemson at Louisville -3 O/U 51.5

A little Friday night treat for the people. Louisville had a crushing loss last week against Cal at home last week. The Cardinals will be without star back Isaac Brown which I think will be a huge blow. Clemson was very impressive against Florida State last week. I’m hoping the Tigers turned a corner here. Clemson +3 -115.

Notre Dame @ Pittsburgh +12.5 O/U 55.5

As discussed on the pod Narduzzi made headlines this week.

I think it’s a total ploy trying to take the pressure off his players. I think Notre Dame is the better team top to bottom and they’ll prove it on the field. Irish -12.5 -110.

Penn State @ Michigan State +7.5 O/U 48.5

Penn State almost stunned the college football world against Indiana at home last weekend. On the heels of matchups against the Buckeyes and Hoosiers I think Penn State could be a spent force. Meanwhile Michigan State comes in off a bye with a fresh face at quarterback. Ever heard of Alessio Milivojevic? Probably not, but he’s played pretty damn well since coming in against Michigan. We’ll take the points with Sparta, Michigan State +7.5 -112.

Texas at Georgia -6.5 O/U 49.5

Big game with playoff implications between the hedges. Georgia took it to Mississippi State last weekend showing that their defense might be rounding into form. I’m still very skeptical about the Dawgs. Meanwhile for Texas, offense has been a struggle all season. The offensive line has been the chief issue. Arch Manning has taken a beating in the pocket. If you see a 7.5 pop I’d be all over Texas but in the spirit of my numbers matter thought, we’re leaving 6.5 alone. For now we’ll play under 49.5 -105.

Michigan at Northwestern (N) +11.5 O/U 41.5

The wolverines have been plagued by injury and sluggish offense as of recent weeks. They still hold their destiny in their own hands but I’m still not sold on the Maize and blue. Northwestern has been pesky all season. We’ll take the points with Northwestern +11.5 -108 at Wrigley.

Best Bet

New Mexico State @ Tennessee -38.5 O/U 61.5

Tennessee is probably looking on this season with some frustration. They should have beaten Georgia at home earlier in the season. Otherwise they’d be in the thick of the playoff hunt. One thing about Tennessee is they bully lesser competition. They hung 56 on UAB and 72 on Tennessee Tech. You can even go back to last season when they demolished Kent State, Chattanooga and UTEP. We’ll lay the points with the Volunteers -38.5 -115.
