Last week was not a banner week for the blog. The picks ended up going 2-3 -1.23 units. The losers just never had a chance. I swear I blinked and Minnesota was down 31 already, bad pick. Disappointingly the best bet also lost. No Jordyn Tyson was a killer for ASU. The season long record now stands at 26-21 +2.8 units and the best bets are 9-2 +5.91 units. Now for the picks.

New Mexico @ UNLV -4.5 O/U 61.5

I don’t believe there’s a more fraudulent team in the country than Dan Mullen’s UNLV squad. Well there might be one that we talk about later but the Runnin Rebels are firmly in the fraud category to me. We’ll play New Mexico +4.5 -105 and I’d also look at the money line if you were feeling so bold.

Texas Tech @ Kansas State +7.5 O/U 51.5

Texas Tech has been battling injury at the Quarterback spot for much of the season. It’s been a shuffle between Behren Morton and Will Hammond. Now Hammond is out for the season and it’s back to the original starter Morton who will likely play today but was on the injury report all week. This scares me. Combine that with the fact that Kansas State has absolutely turned a corner this season. They took it to Kansas in their rivalry game. I think this is a big danger spot for the Red Raiders in the Little Apple. We’re going to take K-State +7.5 -118.

Virginia @ Cal +5.5 O/U 52.5

Virginia has been a nice story this season. Tony Elliott’s squad finds itself at 7-1 but they sure have pulled off the high wire act the last few weeks. I think it comes to an end today. We’ll take the points with Cal +5.5 -105.

Oklahoma @ Tennessee -2.5 O/U 55.5

Do I need to do my whole spiel about the Sooners again or are you guys tired of reading it? I think the reputation of this Sooners team is riding of the coattails of beating a freshman in his first road start, shutting down Jackson Arnold and LaNorris Sellers. The last two offenses being very pedestrian. We’re going to play the Vols -2.5 -118 oh and what’s that?

Yes it’s a daily double. I’m putting my money where my mouth is. We’ll also play Tennessee team total over 28.5 -105.
