Week 13 I’m officially calling it. I fucking suck. Last week 1-2 -2.12 units. South Carolina dominates the first half and then falls apart in the second half. Lose the Tennessee Georgia under by the hook. I’m a loser this season and it doesn’t feel good. 22-30 for – 7.78 units is so pathetic. But I want to touch on a lighter note. I teased this a few weeks ago but I’m going to rank my favorite uniform games in college football. Here we go.

5. Michigan Ohio State
Two legendary programs with classic uniforms. When you’re a legendary program you don’t need 50 different uniforms. Your history your tradition speak for themselves. And that’s what Ohio State and Michigan have. When Michigan is rocking the maize and blue and Ohio State with their white jersey and silver helmets? Yup. Beautiful.

4. Iowa Nebraska
This is an underrated one to me. These teams play thanksgiving weekend and while their teams haven’t lived up to billing the last decade the uniforms delivery. Those uniforms just scream 4 yards and a cloud of dust, physical football. The red and white of Nebraska and black and yellow of Iowa. They just look great to me.

3. Texas Oklahoma
The red river rivalry always delivers from a uniform perspective. The beauty of it is it doesn’t matter whether Texas has the burnt orange on or the white jerseys. Or if Oklahoma has the crimson or their white jerseys. It’s beautiful regardless. From the uniforms on the field to the burnt orange and crimson in the Cotton Bowl. That’s college football baby.

2. Utah BYU
The Holy War is a fun rivalry game. It flies under the radar out west. But look at those colors. Royal blue and the red. If you gave a kid a piece of paper and crayons and asked him to draw what football should look like it’s that.

1. USC UCLA
The Battle of Los Angeles. I don’t even have to explain this one. Just look at that picture. The clear cut number 1. Argue with the wall.
Now for the picks.

Ole Miss @ Florida +12.5 o/u 55.5
Florida is coming off a massive win against a LSU team falling apart at the seams. DJ Lagway performed admirably despite not looking 100%. I think Ole Miss controls this game. Defense travels and Ole Miss has an outstanding defense. I’ll the under 55.5.

BYU @ Arizona State -3.5 o/u 49
Kenny Dillingham really is doing a phenomenal job at Arizona State. BYU is coming off a back breaking home loss to Kansas. With that said BYU got 6 points off 4 red zone trips and probably should have won that football. I think BYU can keep this very close and maybe even win it outright. BYU +3.5.

Army @ Notre Dame (neutral) -14.5 o/u 45.5
I haven’t included Notre Dame once in the picks blog. That changes this week. Army has had a great season thus far. The Black Knights are undefeated and eyeing a potential playoff berth. With all that said I think this spread should be 20.5. I love the Irish big here. Notre Dame saw the option up close and personal against Navy and dominated. Sure Army can hang big points on the UABs and Tulsas of the world. But it’s a little different when you’re facing guys with 4.4 and 4.5 speed on defense instead of 4.6 and 4.7. Give me the Irish -14.5 and in a daily double pick I’ll also take Notre Dame team total over 30.5.

Vanderbilt @ LSU -7.5 o/u 53.5
The wheels are falling off the Brian Kelly bus in Baton Rouge. Losers of 3 in a row and just having lost the number 1 recruit Bryce Underwood. Vandy is having there best season in years. I think Diego Pavia and the Commodores will come out flying. Vanderbilt +7.5.
