Week 12 mid November. Such a miserable time of year, it’s dark at 5 pm. Regular season of college football is almost over. I say all that to say this. It just means you have to appreciate what’s left while you can. Soon enough it’ll be mid-January and we’ll be walking through that gross grey slush in the freezing cold.

Last week we went 2-3 for -1.22 units. It brings us to 21-28 -5.66 units. Pretty much just playing for pride here at this point guys. I’m sorry. Now for the picks.

Missouri @ South Carolina -13.5 o/u 41.5

South Carolina comes rolling into this game on heels of 3 wins in a row. The defense is absolutely rolling. The running game is physical and LaNorris Sellers is growing as a passer. Meanwhile Missouri somehow managed a dramatic win against Oklahoma with Drew Pyne under center. It seems like Pyne will start again and that’s a good for the Gamecocks. Personally I put 2 units on this bet. That classifies this as a hammer play. I’m not telling you to bet irresponsibly. But maybe if you’re saving some coin to take your gal or guy out on a date put it on the cocks this weekend. I think the Gamecocks defense tees off on Saturday give me South Carolina -13.5.

Tennessee @ Georgia -10.5 o/u 47.5

Last week was another ugly performance for the Georgia offense. And as I type this Trevor Etienne has been ruled out with an injury. Quietly the Vols are banged up on offense as well. Nico is still questionable for Saturday and receiver Squirrel White has been dealing with a shoulder injury and he doesn’t look right. I truly think Tennessee’s defense may be the most underrated unit in the country. Give me under 47.5.

Penn State @ Purdue +28.5 o/u 50.5

I liked Penn State last week. I like em again this week. Purdue is the worst team in the power 4. Meanwhile Penn State has somehow put themselves in a position where if they win out they are a playoff team. They keep the momentum going this week. Penn State -28.5.
