From the pen of Mike Sheerin;
First off apologies for the delay. I’ve been absolutely slammed the past few days. Huge win for Boise State last night which puts them inside track for the 12 team playoff. Last week was another frustrating one. Iowa gives up 6 field goals to Michigan State, Alabama looks awful. But the winners were easy. I sense a break through coming. The record is now 17-20 -2.22 units. Because I’m delayed this week no fluff let’s just cut to the chase.
Maryland @ Minnesota -5.5 o/u 46.5

Maryland is coming off one of the biggest wins in program history. Coming from behind in the 4th quarter against the Lincoln Riley coached USC Trojans. This is just a classic let down spot to me. The Gophers are coming off a bye they’ll be up for this. Ski-u-mah, row the boats, it’s Minnesota -5.5.
Penn State @ Wisconsin +6.5 o/u 47.5

It hasn’t been the great start that everyone expected when Luke Fickell arrives in Madison, Wisconsin. But the last couple weeks they seem to be finding an identity. Lot of old school run between the tackles Badger football. I happen to think Drew Allar is very good but Penn State has flirted with disaster a few times this season. I think the Badgers keep this one close, can’t wait for jump around at night in Camp Randall. I’ll take the Badgers +6.5.
Kansas @ Kansas State -9.5 o/u 54.5

In my gambling book which I may write some day but certainly have not started writing yet one of the laws would be very simple. Thou shall bet K-State when they face off with Kansas in the Sunflower Showdown. I love K-State Avery Johnson is rounding into form, DJ Giddens is an electrifying talent at RB and the defense looks great. Give me K-State at home -9.5.
