A great man once said “life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” This year certainly has as on this day last August I launched The Broadway Breakdown, and I am forever thankful I did. Sports will forever be one of my passions and I had been looking for an outlet to express myself in this field once again. I first have to thank my wonderful girlfriend Briana who pushed me to get back into this. Your support along the way has been invaluable, thank you. The support on this also comes from my family who has always encouraged to follow my passions and continues to do so as this project is ongoing.
I’d also like to thank the partners and contributors we gained over the course of the year. Everyone from Rangers Ed. to our newest members of the writing staff, it has been a pleasure to work together, and I cannot wait for what lies ahead. I never thought we would have been creating multimedia content across different platforms at the rate we are, but it’s happened and none of it would be possible without you. A big welcome to Tyler and Sean as well, who have joined Mike, the Ed’s and me as site contributors and will be providing you with some great content down the road.
Before I sign off here, I have to thank you, the readers and listeners most of all. While I am not in this for the audience, your patronage is greatly appreciated. You’re here for the same reasons I am, because you’re a passionate fan looking to join the conversation. It’s been a great source of joy and emotional release (sometimes not always the best emotions) to write about sports on this site for you. I began by quoting Ferris Bueller, so I’ll send it out with a line from another legend…take it Frank!
